Locking door, which building is it?

As for sound, there is no sound. Almost all dialog in Morrowind was not recorded, which in my opinion is for the better. I suggest getting the Protocolled Dialogs mod to help with dialog issues.

You can check out Acted Voice Overs / Voiced Dialogue by Sot and company or Computer-Generated Voice Overs / Voiced Dialogue by Sjors Boomschors

The doors are locked because they are now closed for the day. You have to wait until morning.

In Orig Morrowind has no  Voice  Dialog for NPC  to Player in Game  it  ran under  a Protocolled Dialog system which was Re_Created by Eazzy  the other files Listed above is Voice  Dialog Created to get away from the Silent Voice Effect. This is why you Need to Have Subtitles Turned on and Run Ely Silent Voice Plugin Files Under OBSE..

Stuck in Side Hours around Morrowind is Around 8 am to 8 pm so you will have to wait till Morning unless  you have an Intervention Scroll or Spell to Get Out

I forgot about that. I am so use to things closing at certain times that I forget never did that in the OG.
