Hey, new here. I'd love to add some Dunmer voices to this mod/revival! I was looking online for Dunmer quotes, but I can't find anything to go off of, other than that I know what they sound like. Any links someone could post to give me a hand?
For my Dunmer audition I decided to read some lines by Jiub and the Ordinators, as well as some other miscellaneous Dunmer lines. I am interested in doing any voice work as necessary.
(EDIT: I posted a second audition that I believe might be a better representation of what you are looking for. I can do both voices though! Thank you so much for the opportunity!)
Found out about this through the /r/games post. I figured why not. Always wanted to get a bit of amateur voice work a try on the off chance to see if I would enjoy it.
First time doing any voice acting work, and I'm super excited it's with this project. I haven't actually played Morrowind, so I'm not familiar with the characters, but I'd love some additional text to work on! I loved Oblivion and Skyrim, and wanted to get into voice acting in part to improve the performances of the games I love. I'm an actor, so any direction would be awesome too. Thanks for making this crazy thing!
I've recorded the sample lines in the first post using my Rode video mic. There's more work to be done to perfect it, but this is the general quality I'll be outputting right now.
There's some odd artifacting going on after completing the edits recommended in the video from the Voice Acting Hub. Normalising, Compressing then Normalising seems to be janking it a bit, so I rolled it back to just a normalising, and it seems a tad better - still some artifacting that's not present in the base recording after noise removal.
This is also sans-EQ, so there's some touch ups that could be done.
As a bonus, have some ad-lib rough-customer N'wah dialogue, and another famous Dunmer quote!
This is my very first time trying some voice acting stuff, but I've always wanted to do something like this.
My microphone is definitely not perfect, but I guess it might do if I try to work out some way to reduce some of the noise it makes while I'm speaking.
I'm obviously open for any criticism and/or tips to improve, especially since I'm not quite sure if my voice sounds "low" enough and I have a feeling that I sometimes mix up some accents (english is not my main language). So any help is highly appreciated!
Edit: Another thing is, that I don't know how to pronounce some of the names in these lines. I'll definitely have to work on that.
My name is Stuart Cormack and I have done two recordings of two characters from Morrowind with polar personalities: Divayth Fyr of the Telvanni and Bolvyn Venim of Redoran
Tried to get a good mix of Telvanni arrogance and wise eccentrics with Fyr and the wreckless and fierce pride for Venim. Hope you enjoy!

Hello there! I just used your sample lines for recording since I'm not familiar with the Dunmer & was unable to find quotes online, so I apologize if the sample line was intended for a male voice... Also for any pronunciation errors. My audition for a female Dunmer can be found here:
I record in my own home studio setting, so I am available pretty much whenever & with quick turnaround! If I mispronounced a name and you'd like me to record a corrected version, just let me know. Similarly, if you think my voice would be a better fit for a different role, feel free to point me in the right direction! Thanks so much for your time :)
For my audition I used the sample lines from the top. Wasn't sure if I should give a second pass to them so I went with this.
People above keep talking about using specific lines for certain characters but I am unable to find where those may be located. I'd love to try out some other lines.
Well, here goes! I saw that you had fewer female voices and figured I'd try my hand, er, voice at it. Maybe for once my deeper, hoarse voice will come in handy! :P What do you think, is it too deep for a lady elf, even if she is a dunmer? I tried to go off of the female dark elves in Skyrim for the accent/intonation.
Pretty sure the sound quality won't be up to par right now, but I could always make improvements in my setup and editing if it sounds like there's any potential.
Both samples are similar, just different pitch.
P.S. HUGE shout-out to all the amazing people who are making this work. I just spent hours drooling all over the different boards on here and was thoroughly impressed.
And I apologize for probably mangling the pronunciation of names in the sample script.
I do not know who is this character, but I used the lines recommended by Smitehammer. If you want to hear me voice a specific character, please let me know his name and I will be please to try it again. I hope it matches the actual voice of a Dark Elf, because I've heard some pretty amazing auditions on this page!!
Hey guys, I just used the sample lines and put together the short clip, if you want any changes at all or are any way interested please let me know! Hope you like it. Thanks, Hugh.
This is my dunmer audition! I'm primarily a theatre actor, but I really want to get into voice acting, I'm a massive Elder Scrolls fan so the two go hand in hand :)
Here is my voicesample. Didn't found any text-templates so i just made some blablabla like in all my normal Tubevids ;)

Hello! I'm feeling terribly dull at the moment, but can anyone point me to the script for the dunmer lines?
By popular demand I'll be adding sample lines to the first post of audition threads.
I'm try some dunmer.
Here's my go at the sample lines.
Here is my attempt, sorry for the slight s hisses - just getting over a cold.
Just started breaking into the world of voice acting. Gave your sample lines a go. Feedback is much appreciated.

I had fun with this.
My audition, I can end up losing the accent if needed...it's not my native dialect anyway.

Here is my audition for Sinyaramen!
I hope the Track names are right. I took them from the Excel sheet.
I can modify the intonation and character to fit almost any Dunmer, I believe.
My Dark Elf audio samples. Multiple voices and some non-dialogue stuff at the end

Hi there!
Here is my attempt at the sample line for the Dunmer.

Here is my Dunmer audition. I haven't based it off any particular house, but if possible I would like to voice for House Redoran.
Edit: Is Garisa Llethri still requiring a voice?

Alright, well here's my audition! I'm just reading the sample text.

For my audition for a dark elf I have chosen the character Anes Hlaren
I would be grateful for any feadback.
Given the description of each different kind of voice style, I did a recording for each, minus Ashlander.
I hear your voice and I think of Nelos Onmar, the Dark Elf bandit who stole the jewels from the Imperial lady in the wilderness.
Well, that's really fecking good. Nailed it.
Here we go. Much like the high elf, if the quality on the mic is not good enough I'll try to get a better one.

I recorded this pretty quickly just reading the sample lines but I had fun with it.
Here is my Dark Elf Voice Audition. Let me know if anything else is suitable for me if you like my voice.
