alternatives to the part 13 (ESP file) above, which doesn't work unless you clean it in TES4Edit:

Part 13 cleaned by Leomorg (highly recommended): http://www.mediafire.com/?elgi7dgy7k1vsad

Part 13 from David Budreck which has the grass and distant land, but not the weather (recommended if you use OBGE to manage graphics settings / shaders / hdr): http://www.mediafire.com/file/xlu8cvsbd7ujiy1/MorrowOblivion_Visual%20Overhaul%20Landscape%20%26%20Grass.rar

I am repeating, I have problems with Ship textures(For ex: Starting ship from Seyda Neen) and mushroom trees. I think only I have those textures missing.

The things I presume we share are wood things hold wall-rugs and imperial cult altar textures.

Eagerly awaiting the Flora overhaul.

I found another missing texture. Its a desk (Or an altar) In the ebonheart temple. (Or is it a chaple?)

EDIT: ok maybe someone else already noticed.

@Darth South

That's weird, to me Seyda Neen looks just fine. My suggestion is to go back to the old textures and make sure that works okay. Then reinstall Eloth's textures and see if it works.

Hey I checked and the load order was fine I'm still missing most of Morrowind.

@eloth

Like someone said before, I'm getting purple rocks in the Molag Amur region. For instance, right behind Suran, right by the NPC "Umbra."

I'm still seeing a few purple rocks around ghostgate too, both inside and outside the fence.

I do not have any purple anywhere that I have seen. I have not gone everywhere, but have spent a good deal of time running around Morrowind. Please make sure you have properly unpacked and installed ALL parts of this huge download. If half of Morrowind is missing, then that is Definitely a problem with installation, not Eloth's mod. Again, make sure you have downloaded all pieces, and have unpacked and installed them properly.

All I have that is purple is the banner pole things, an altar, and one or two rocks.

Same here, just the banner poles, and a few rocks, such as around Ghostgate and behind Suran.

i think  those of you who are experiencing missing textures, do have oblivion installed in default location?

eg. C:\program files\bethesda software\oblivion\ ?

and maybe you are running windows 7?

Just a guess.

Directory  -  C:\steam\steamapps\common\oblivion

OS           -  Windows 7 RC 64-bit

me and david dont have those problems, and we have installed oblivion in a custom location.

What was it that Kiwi was saying about the paths and messing with them in Nifscope/Tesedit?

that was changing the texture path inside the nifs from textures\blabla.dds to textures\morro\x\blabla.dds

Excellent, thank you!
I would also like to note that I haven't had any issues with the most recent misc items replacer, and it looks beautiful =)

two problems persist:

1. The rings of the barrels are still missing a texture
http://steamcommunity.com/id/TheRevoluzer/screenshot/594683394264973890?filter=app_22330
(ignore the urns!)

2. I can't activate/open the new chest like the one of the pelagiad trader in the 1st floor on the shelf...

(this is a "older" picture - it has a skin now, but I still can't open it

Truely great work! This made me glad I fought my way through the installation process, xbox controller configs, etc. Totally worth it if anyone is still on the fence.

Ah, the dreaded purple bamboo candlestick has returned. And no amount of reinstalling the overhaul fixes it. Anyone else have this problem?

No, I dropped every version of the Bamboo Candlestick into one room to check, and they all look fine =/
I have run into a few stray purple misc items,  I'll try to give more specific info on which ones later today.

Really though, I loove what you've done with the ones that are working properly =D especially the plates.. but I've noticed that one of them likes to stand on end, sticking halfway through whatever surface it's on. Even if I move it and force it to lie flat, when I let go it pops back up again. It's the plate on the table in Caius Cosades' house. Anyone else having weird behavior like that?

Could you tell me what the name of the texture for the bamboo candlestick is?

Okay, I pinpointed a few of the meshes that are turning purple for me:

morro\o\ContainUbarrelU01.nif (rings only, as mentioned by others)
clutter\poitions\morro\m\MiscUPotionUCheapU01.nif
clutter\poitions\morro\m\MiscUPotionUBargainU01.nif
clutter\poitions\morro\m\MiscUPotionUExclusiveU01.nif

Hope that's helpful, I'll let you know if I spot any more.

I've noticed that in the inventory menus the icons for a lot of weapons (Morrowind mostly I think) are missing. Anyone know if this is an issue with Hashmi's high rez pack or Eloh's overhaul?

Missing Icons have NOTHING to do with Eloth's Mod. You have not installed the most recent Additional Support Files. Pay attention to the directions on the page; I indicate when new downloads are needed.

Thank you for your help as always.

First of all thank you very much! This is a great mod.

Still, I have problems. And it seem I am the only one having those.

1-Soulgem Replacer and Grass-Landscape mod(esp files) prevents opening my game.

2-All mushroom trees are purple for me. I re-installed all game but problem continues.Last thing I installed was Weapon Retextures of HelpfulPerson, before that was your Overhaul.

EDIT: Now I noticed I have some problem with Shivering Isles, have you used any textures from it while you were making those Mushroom trees?

@Darth South

1. For Eloth's Grass-Landscape mod, you have to use Leomorg's cleaned esp. The original esp has Tribunal and Bloodmoon as required esm's and that causes Oblivion to crash as it tries to load these non-existant esms.

Anyways, here's the link to Leomorg's cleaned esp: http://www.mediafire.com/?elgi7dgy7k1vsad

Hey that esp solved mushroom tree issue also. Thank you very much!

Hi.

thank you Eloth for making this. It's appreciated by everyone!

Thanks Eloth!

Your Visual Overhaul mod makes Morrowind fresh while retaining that old sense of nostalgia. Thanks again!

I've installed everything and I'm still getting pink rocks.

Amazing work!! Thank you so much!

I've done a few full reinstalls with the new version v029 esm, and am still experiencing a persistant no texture group of rocks near the west gash area.  Not sure if its this texture pack causing it but I thought I'd share in case anyone else is seeing it.

Running Vista with a steam install and UAC bypassed.

those of you who are experiencing pink rocks, have you downloaded the latest updates?

Yeah I've double and triple full installed with the latest files in the first post. I didn't see the issue with the v028 esp but I am seeing it consistently with the new v029 esp. To expand on the issue, the pink rocks are showing up all along the west gash and beyond in the ashy areas, the shot i uploaded above is right outside fort moonmoth if that helps.

I have the same problem...
In the back you can see arkngthand :)

@warglwargl

I found this was because of the texture path on mesh TerrainUrockUMAU550.nif

It's pointing to the root Textures folder and needs to be changed to Textures\morro\x to use the correct file.

As a quick fix if you're not familar with nifScope I think you could try copying TxUMAUlava05A.dds to your ...Oblivion/Data/Textures folder.  As least until the nif gets updated which I'll leave to eloth.

Thanks by the way for all the hard work eloth.  Very very nice and greatly appreciated.

-kaos war monk

ps - I believe I have all the updates to the base pack installed

Thanks MrKWMonk, changing the texture file path in nifscope did the trick.

Hmm I've downloaded everything for the visual overhaul, however have not used it as of yet, my machine was recently patched up and its old...  However will this old thing run it?

2.16 Gigahertz single processor

2.00 Gigabyte Ram

128-256 megabyte Intel graphics

Windows Vista Home Premium

Yeah old machine, it runs Oblivion at a good pace though which im satisfied, i like running around with HEAPS of unessential companions and watch them drop like flies in dungeons againts the never ending swarms of enemies.

Do you think its good to run the visual overhaul without the changes of the ini file?

My thanks to MrKWMonk as well. That trick with nifscope solved the only texture problem I had left (that I have found anyways).

Hi, I registered to post this post :D

I can't download part 6. It just says "Your download is starting" but nothing happens. :~

Media Fire is like that sometimes, but it will get around to the file eventually. Just keep trying.

Wow, this is incredible. Thank you for all your hard work.

I haven't seen any missing textures or anything, but I was having an issue with Oblivion crashing on start up when I was using the LandTexturesWithGrassPlusLOD.esp mod. As soon as I removed it, the game loaded up fine. The only other mods I have installed are the ones required for Morroblivion. I do have the Steam version of the game, perhads that has something to do with it?

Wish I could be more help, but I've never modded Oblivion before and have no clue what the actual problem is. The new textures really do look amazing, though. Thanks again.

Since your "fixes" I now have no purple anything.. flawless work :D
