After doing a completely new

After doing a completely new install with v30 + everything else, LandTexturesWithGrassPlusLOD.esp comes up in wrye bash as needing tribunal.esm, bloodmoon.esm and asmosters.esm. This is propably why you are crashing. I know in one of these posts someone had linked to blank esms from tribunal and bloodmoon, however the ashmonsters.esm requirement is something that appeared when I installed v30 and all the new associated update files so I don't know abbout that one.

Small Chests are not working

I thought I saw something about the small chests not working at one point here but I can't find it again. Did that ever get fixed? I'm sorry if this has been asked before but I looked and I couldn't find anything. They are there they just don't open

Thank you! That worked. I can now get to the main screen and click "new game". The game loads, but at the character creation menu the text is black/dark, I can't click any buttons and in the background big yellow "wtf!" logos replace the misc items. My install worked perfect in .27, so it's not conclict with my other mods. I've tried reinstalling the misc items pack thing. Doesn't work. :/ Edit: Think it might have something to do with the .31 installer. How long does it usually take? Mine was almost instant.

CTD with Eloths LOD .esp

When I have Eloths LOD .esp active, the game crashes to desktop right after the bethesda logo. No problems when it's not active. :/ Kinda bugs me. Havn't been able to play for weeks. I ran conflict check and it says that i miss "tribunal_ob.esm"

Thanks - that worked. I can now get to the main menu, click new game, and get to the character creation screen. But here - all the text it black/dark, I can't click anything or interact in anyway, and yellow "wtf" icons replace the misc items in the background. I've tried reinstalling the misc plugin, with no succes. I suspect that the .31 installer is the culprit. How long should the installation proces take? Mine was instant.

3.1 installer may have an issue

I had 3.0 already installed and running pretty much fine (except horrible framerates), but I downloaded and "installed" 3.1 today. Also noticed the install was almost instant. Have no idea if it actually installed.

Anyone else having nearly instant installs of 3.1?

Edit: Just ran the 3.1 installer again. It's about 75MB and I could count to about 3 before it finished. That actually seems almost right based on my HDD data tranfer rates (around 20-25MBps).

Edit x 2: Checked the morrowind_ob.esm date. It is showing today so it appears the installer works as intended.

Frame Rate & Misc Items

All the "Installer" does is check whether you have Morrowind installed, then copy a file that you have already extracted to the Oblivion\Data directory. If you have a fast computer, then yes, this will be nearly instant. To increase frame rate you can try restoring the original INI settings. I had to do this. Also you can try the mod I made with landscape and grass but no weather. Eloth has some additional setting in the Weather Tab that might have some effect of FPS. But thanks anyway :) EDIT: Lol actually - for some reason - installing the new misc file, fixed the problem with not being able to use the menus. awesome :D

Stuck In Animation

Having everything appear darker than normal, and being unable to click on or interact with anything is indicative of being stuck in an animation. I get this every now and then when casting a spell and opening a door at the same time. I have NO idea what would cause this in a new game, except that I have seen cases of quests, etc., firing off before I ever even get to character creation, so Oblivion is not perfect... Try starting your game with ONLY Oblivion.esm and Morrowind_ob.esm active. Then save and activate your other mods. If you rename your Oblivion.ini file Oblivion will generate a new one with default settings.

If you save while stuck in an animation, then as far as I know you are stuck forever. Nobody on Nexus even acknowledged they knew what I was talking about, so nobody knows how to unstick being stuck in an animation that I am aware of--or even if that really is the problem. The ONLY solution when this happens--as far as I know--is to reload from a previous save.

Okay. It seems that it's totally random what happens. Sometime I can't even start a new game without CTD, sometimes I end up with the "unable to click anything bug". This time i got all the way through. Exited the ships cargo hold, and just fell directly into the water. Seems that only one cell was loaded, seyda neen was invisible and all npcs swimming. :/ No lag though :D EDIT: Morroblivion.esm wasn't loading right after oblivion esm. When I can get ingame past the CTD's and the no click bugs I'll see if that fixes it.

A-Bomb Fixer

The "Animation Bomb" or "A-Bomb" bug is not the same "Stuck in Animation" that I am referring to. The Animation Bomb will happen pretty much 100% of the time at some point after 200 hours of playing; it is just a matter of time... What I am referring to is a darkened screen, very surreal looking, like being ethereal in an altered plane of existance. Then you are stuck without controls exactly like being in a scripted animation sequence. I have never thought to COC somewhere when it happens, so I don't know if that would work or not. I also don't know the control to enable player controls off the top of my head, so am unable to do that on the fly in-game.

But all text like item (when trading, looting a corpse or checking my inventory) is black and very big, which means it can't be read :/ Besides that I don't it runs smooth EDIT: Seems I'm the only one on the web with this problem. :/ EDIT2: I realize that this might not be a morroblivion problem, but I'll just sum up my problems. Hope that's okay. 1. 4/5 times when i start a new game, or press continue game, the game CTD while loading. 2. 1/2 times when I finally get ingame, I cant click anything. Everything moves, and I move the mouse around and use the keyboard - but no clicking. 3. If none of the above happen, and I get to play, all the menu/item text is black and too big, making it impossible to read. Subtitles and buttons are fine though. Havn't done anything since 0.28 than installing .31 and eloths graphical updates. (which I might add, are amazing)

None of this has anything to do with Eloth's Mod. Please create a new thread and I will move all this over there. To go forward with debugging, you need to list your load order. It sounds to me like you have a conflict. Do you use any UI overhauls? That would be the most likely candidate. The crashes are most likely due to an incomplete installation. I had thought that missing textures = pink, but sometimes missing textures = crash. I have seen this myself.

First off, great job on the visual overhall. The game looks absolutely stunning. I have downloaded all of the files including the fixes for the broken textures, but am still getting the purple hue on the terrain around Caldera/Balmora. I am assuming the problem is to do with the distant land textures because the purple fades away as I come near the bad terrain. Is anybody else having this problem? Any ideas what textures are the problem, and if so, how should I go about fixing them?

Update: I don't think my problem is to do with the texture files themselves. I have found that this purple distant land is isolated to the Caldera/Balmora region. The purple hue stops at the border of the ashlands. Basically, it seems region-specific. Is anyone else having this problem? Any solutions? Thanks.

Thanks huge Elaf for this colossal mod, works all just fine, but after adjustment ini a file as it is written in the first post game throws out on a desktop though my computer powerful enough and should cope with the given adjustments:AMD Phenom II X6 1075T, 4Gb DDR2, AMD Radeon HD 6870 1Gb, but all the same there is a crash of game though after returning initial adjustments ini a file all comes to norm, whether who to prompt that it can is necessary to adjust and how that morroblivion looked beautifully and there were no emissions?
