would it be possible to combine the two? like use the chain grieves as a base, but use the fur highlights around the belt and knees? expecting no, but thought i'de bring it up anyway. :P
I did all the converting and repositioning of the shields, so I don't think there is anything wrong with the current converted shields in Skyblivion. If so let me know what is wrong, so I can learn from it.
Just from analysing the sields from Skyrim, the axis always lines up with the handles, where your character holds the shield. In the Skyblivion Nif files the axis doesn't line up with the handles.
I don't know if they'll work or not.
How can I place the items in-game? I'll test every shield. I tried loading the Skyblivion 0.2 files in the ck, but that crashes the ck.
yazza2014 I see your point, they do not look to be correct at the moment. But they where 100% correct when I uploaded them, except from a little change in there file name.
Zilav what did you do to the shields I converted, did you reposition it?
I will upload the new shields to you both in 15 minutes.
Ayleid Crown of Lindai
Ayleid Crown of Nenlata
Blackwater Leather Cuirass
Bloodworm Helmet
Clavicus Vile Helmet
Cowl of The Grey Fox
Daedric Bracers
Helm of Oreyn Bearclaw
Leather Bracers
Saviors Hide
Thadon's Crown
I know, I'm talking about ports of morrowind armor. Maybe people want to go and wear morrowind armor from the original game instead of it being from scratch. We can use it as a mod.

I believe yazza will hopefully be doing the female armor, to port the original armor from Morrowind would be a lot of time and effort, for something that may not look as good as you might think, Morrowind came out a long time ago. However, yazza has created two excellent tutorials, in text and video format, if you wish to port the armor yourself.
I don't think original Morrowind armours would look that good. But I did make tutorials on armour conversion so you can try it yourself. Skywind is getting new armours based on concept art which I think looks excellent. Maybe look at Morroblivion armours, my tutorials would be directly applicable to those.
I will be converting female Oblivion armour.
Will be posting more armour sets tomorrow. I feel a little burnt out since I converted so many armour sets so quickly, but I will eventually get them all done.
I can't wait to read it, hopefully its useful and maybe I can help out on some points.
I've finished the Conversion tutorial
I'll add it to OP later
Holy shit. This is absolutly amazing.
The armour conversions or my tutorial?
Updated OP Added Golden Saint Armour and Golden Saint captains Helmet
Outstanding as all your previous conversions! Going to make you esp soon, real life getting in my way recently.
Keep up the good work ;)
Updated OP, added video tutorial for armour conversion.
I'm in the process of converting the miscellaneous armours and I noticed that Saviors Hide doesn't have greaves.
Here is a picture of Saviors Hide

I think the best greaves to suit this armour would be a Darker version of the fur greaves or just the chainmail greaves

http://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120722023807/elderscrol...
What do you guys think? Or should I pick a different pair of greaves?
would it be possible to combine the two? like use the chain grieves as a base, but use the fur highlights around the belt and knees? expecting no, but thought i'de bring it up anyway. :P
I decided to go with darker fur greaves.
Yes, it's possible. Not sure how it would turn out though
I'll make multiple versions
Just use whatever greaves you like, it is only a visual difference not affecting gameplay or records data.
I've done all the Miscellaneous armour, except for Saviors Hide and the shields. (All shields need to be converted anyway)
I'm not 100% Sure on how to convert shields, is it like converting a weapon? Where you import the object and position it?
The shields are already converted, do I just position it to the handle?
Yes, the shields are already converted. If you think they need to be adjusted, then feel free to make changes.
Shields are already in game, no need to change anything in esm for them.
I did all the converting and repositioning of the shields, so I don't think there is anything wrong with the current converted shields in Skyblivion. If so let me know what is wrong, so I can learn from it.
Are your shields in Skyblivion 0.2?

Shields should be correct in 0.2 unless I forgot to include Sjors meshes.
To work with Skywind/Skyblivion in CK https://tesrenewal.com/forums/general-development/working-wi...
I've done all miscellaneous armours, just need to put them in-game
I've decided that this is what Saviors hide will look like
Updated OP
Added the following armour
Ayleid Crown of Lindai
Ayleid Crown of Nenlata
Blackwater Leather Cuirass
Bloodworm Helmet
Clavicus Vile Helmet
Cowl of The Grey Fox
Daedric Bracers
Helm of Oreyn Bearclaw
Leather Bracers
Saviors Hide
Thadon's Crown
Good choice for Savior's Hide, looks natural to me.
As for misc armors, I don't even remember half of them
That tells how huge Oblivion is.
I didn't even know about any of those miscellaneous armours. I never came across them in my Oblivion play through.
Only ones I knew of were Thadon's Crown and the Cowl of the Grey Fox.
Hey Yazza, when your done with making the armor for female models, do you think you can make ports for skywind?
Ports of what? Skywind has it's own armors designed from scratch.

Sorry for the lack of updates, I've started doing female armours, here is a picture of Female Ebony Armour in 3DS MAX
Updated OP,
Added female Ebony Armour
Awesome as all your convertions!
Another great conversion yazza!
Updated OP
Added female Daedric Armour
Indeed you converted a lot of armors in a very short time span, and female variants are not top priority for now. Thank you for your help.
I'll be updating this thread tomorrow with a minimum of 3 armour sets.
These will be female versions of
Dark Seducer
Golden Saint
Mythic Dawn
I might possibly do more.
Noticed that FootFemale_Big node is clipping with boots in dark seducer female cuirass.
Will get that fixed, thanks.
Was probably only a minor clipping issue.
Updated OP, added previously mentioned armour
Updated OP, added Glass Armour
Yes, I'm aware of the Helmet clipping, and it will be fixed.
Also added a picture of the cubemap used, looks a lot like glass.
Tomorrow I'll add female variants of the following armour
Chainmail
Anvil Guard
Bravil Guard
Bruma Guard
Cheydinhal Guard
Chorrol Guard
Kvatch Guard
Leyawiin Guard
Skingrad Guard
Please don't burn out again :)
Reason for adding so many is because the guard armours all have the same mesh , just with different textures.
And the guard armours all use chainmail boots and gauntlets.
So really, it's like converting two armour sets.
Updated OP, added the following armour
Chainmail
Anvil Guard
Bravil Guard
Bruma Guard
Cheydinhal Guard
Chorrol Guard
Kvatch Guard
Leyawiin Guard
Skingrad Guard
Updated OP, added Steel Armour
Also added preview of my mod, transparent Obliivon Glass Weapons.
