Not sure about the mask bits, but I'm certainly interested in seeing more.

Looks strange and alien. Perfect for morrowind.

Got to admit, Lukkars vision is a bit more to my liking, mainly because of the tusks. But it's your model Smart, and you usually end up with some great ones! Keep up the good work.

Maybe with bone Sacrum and leather.

Methinks you can make it with greatest lower jaw's fang, that goes over face in the orbits and protect face.
With this mode lower jaw obviously must be supposed to be jaw of another species.
Or they can be made less big, and touching only other jaw (not orbit), but positioned with same purpose - to protect face.

Bottom one looks best to me.  The human looking skull mask on the inside seems a bit much.  I get the feeling guards would want to arrest you for grave robbing if you came in with a human skull.
If you really want something on the inside, you can't go wrong with a metal nose-guard.

this will be my last alteration for the concept, then i want to finish it to accomplish something. Version without skull inside looks much better now. I'm sure that final version will be really cool, like all your models done before.

I'm not sure if I understood last sentence correctly.

Some small things. Just making longer fangs to show longer curves from skull (I really don't know how to say it in English) and making inner plates for cheeks more pointed outside (for safety reasons). This is everything what I can say, decision is yours.

I like variant without tongue (? or what is it) and with metal masque with noseguard.
+1 to lukkar small changes. Bigger fangs can protect face. I think nords who made it could use fangs from Sabre Cat.

I prefer the top, though I don't think the tongue version is as bad as some seem to think (maybe make the tongue more menacing, and have one version with and one version without?).  Looking great so far though!

The tongue just doesn't make much sense. It's a chunk of flesh. It would rot. That alone makes it look weird imo. Other version is good, though.

This things that placed in orbits could be nice as long as on your first picture, but oriented back.
 

I'm pretty late to the discussion, so feel free to ignore this, but perhaps it could use some troll fur on the sides, sort of like Kirkbride's concept? Looks awesome, I like the red bands on it.

Trollbone has got quite crapy armor rating, so I suggest add rust and "scars" to metal and some cracks to skull. Also add dripstone from oxide iron to skull. Some discolorations like make top of skull brighter than lower part could be nice too (sun effecting). Leather could have some discoloration also.

Nah, nordic trollbone isn't a crappy armor, it's a medium quality armor 2/3rds of the way up the quality scale.  (I'm considering all the daedric faces as a single quality because they're more or less unique items)  The only better heavy helmets are dwemer, ebony and daedric, and they're all contraband, so trollbone is the best heavy helmet that money can (legally) buy.  The 18 armor rating claimed by the wiki represents its value at 0 skill; at 100 skill it's closer to 60.  If that's  so shabby that it needs rust, dislocations and cracks to serve as visual cues, then the imperial silver, imperial steel, nordic iron, steel and iron helmets need them too.

*yes, I'm aware everything's going to be rebalanced and use Skyrim's armor system, and yes, I recognize that in Morrowind there was a giant gulf in quality between dwemer and ebony and that unarmored was better than trollbone.  And yeah, orcish and dreugh laugh at it, but they're high-quality medium armor.  The important thing is it's still better than most heavy helmets.

Actually, Nordic Trollbone is as good as a brand-new Imperial Steel or Imperial Silver (source). So I'd give a big Numidium's NO to adding more wear and tear!

Since it's a Nordic helmet, it would be nice to add some fur to it as per MK's concept, though. If it's a Nordic helmet, it should be designed to be worn in subzero temperatures. And the fur would still be useful in Morrowind as rudimentary protection from the ash.

But the model is pretty awesome as it is, so feel free to disregard any of this :)
