Update Notice: June 5, 2017

Morroblivion Overhaul by Diana TES GotH is now located on the STEP Wiki. Now users can simply follow the guide from the website instead of having to download a document. Users are encouraged to register on the STEP Wiki forum for any discussion and support related to this guide.

Feedback is welcome. Some of the instructions may be confusing.  I am trying to make certain that I keep Steam Users, as well as Mod Organizer Users in mind with the instructions.

I will leave the original guide documents here on this forum, however I will not be uploading any new versions as it is simply more convenient to edit the website as needed. This means it will be more convenient for users as well.

A shout of thanks to all the developers of this wonderful addition to Oblivon and to those who continue to contribute to its upkeep: http://forum.step-project.com/topic/12169-morroblivion-overhaul/?p=211248

@ rossimi I have been thinking of your request for a Skyrim Guide as I have started remodding my own PC Original Skyrim Legendary game. I honestly cannot do any better than what S.T.E.P. suggests. I have tried a variety of mods, but their recommendations are the best by far. You can build on the mods after you have a stable setup, but I highly recommend that you try their guide first. http://wiki.step-project.com/STEP:2.2.9.2#Incremental_Mod_Update_for_Interim_Release_.233 I hope you are still having fun with Morroblivion. I will eventually come back to it, but I have other projects in the works at the moment.

@ rossimi

Another modding guide I am currently testing out for Skryrim is Skyrim Revisited: Legendary Edition @ http://wiki.step-project.com/User:Neovalen/Skyrim_Revisited_-_Legendary_Edition

This guide has been fun to follow, but it also looks like it will be a fun playthrough.

Happy Gaming [External image]

I'll see what I can do after I have learned a bit more about modding Skyrim myself. I learn by following others guides, and then choose what best suits me. It may take me some time, but I will try to get a guide out for you by the time Skyblivion and Skywind are released.

However, we'll definitely want our first playthrough to be fresh out the box as our team releases them. This way we can help report any bugs or issues we experience. Afterwards it will be nice to see what our modders release here on the forums. So my guide for Skyrim may be a couple of years in the works, but I will definitely try to make it happen.

I have been learning quite a bit about optimizing textures using DDSopt. I have a User talk page on the S.T.E.P. Forums if anyone would like to follow my progress. I will probably be updating this guide in the next couple of months using some of these techniques as well making certain all of the links and recommendations are still applicable. These are especially useful for people with low-mid end PC's who would still love to play a modded game. User talk:Diana TES Goth

When Skyblivion and Skywind are released, I will work on a modding guide for them as well, but only after I have played them straight out of the box first. [External image]

What would everything think about me putting this guide on a Wiki site, instead of having to download it as a MS Word or PDF file?

That would be very awesome!  You definitely have enough info to turn into a decent sized Wiki.  I feel like the people who could benefit most from your Word/PDF file might be scared off by the fact that it's so long -- if it was in a Wiki, they could just browse through and read what they're interested in.  You've got my vote if you decide to do it!

Awesome, if there are no objections from anyone, I will probably convert this guide to the Wiki. Most likely I will put it in a S.T.E.P. Wiki forum. This will also enable users to help me out during the process if they so choose. It will definitely take some time and effort to convert, but I agree it will be more beneficial to users who may be offset by the length of the Word/PDF files.

When I complete my current project, I'll get back on updating and converting this guide. I expect that to be in April, hopefully.

P.S. I am Diana TES GotH#0086 on Discord if anyone wishes to chat with me. I am a member of many discord channels, so you'll either have to mention me in a comment or send me a message for a quick response.

IBM-Watson is calling: they want their supercomputer back!  But seriously, that must be quite a difference from a laptop!  Wow! [External image]

Please be patient as I am learning how to reformat my original guide in compliance with the STEP Wiki forms.  [External image]

The current version (Morroblivion Overhaul) will have a few new revisions. I fear it may be several weeks before I have the current version stable. I'm trying out a few different things along the way.

As for the changes I expect to make to the current version, I will be trying to mod Morroblivion with Mod Organizer. I will also be revising a few of the mods I previously used by either replacing them with newer versions and excluding those no longer available, as well as adding some mods that the TES Renewal team have recently posted on their forums.

The guide was good before the last couple days when I was using it but now the website appears to be down forever, Returning 504 bad gateway and 503 backend fetch failed errors for the past couple days.

Any chance you have a backup of this guide? I was about halfway through it...
