This is a reupload of Hashmi's original creature conversion tutorial for Morroblivion.
It was originally hosted on PlanetElderScrolls, but it seems the link is now dead.

interesting! Thank you for the reupload
This was absolutely invaluable in figuring out how to convert Morrowind: the Symphony's new creature animations to Oblivion.
I can make an attempt, if you PM me the details/provide the files.
Provide.
I got tentative permission from the mod author to convert them, but there's an issue with the textures I need to remedy before he'll give it 100%. If I can make them display properly in-game he said he'd be OK with it, but we'd need to include credit/make clear that anyone who wants to use it in their own mod projects has to contact him.
What is the problem with textures?
They're saved in a DDS format used for advanced visuals in more modern engines; he designed those textures for OpenMW overhauled graphics processor. Basically the Normal Map is somehow saved inside the specular/regular texture...I just need to re-open the texture, save it as a format-1, then generate a shitty _n map and save it as format-3. It might just take a bit of experimenting to prevent them from being metallic in appearance.
Give me a PM texture. I will help you.
