Stability and Performance Notice

Expand

If you experience seemingly random crashes (usually in the wilderness) then this is because of Cell Buffer Overrun, NOT something inherently wrong with cell XY. Oblivion was simply not designed to encompass Morrowind and everything Tamriel Rebuilt has built over the years.

It's recommended if you have 4GB+ of RAM, apply the 4GB Patch to Oblivion.exe (Allows use of more then 4GB of RAM) TR struggles as it is....

Only for Morroblivion v066

Bugs:

  • Exclamation!!!! Probably where the Ambient sounds are placed.
  • Pink Everywhere in some region(s) Already fixed hundreds of texture issues, I would like to see other modders work on this stuff before I continue.

I have TR installed in my Morrowind directory, and (naturally) Morroblivion installed in my Oblivion directory, but your installer says that I don't have TR installed in that directory.  Could you give more detailed instructions please?  I use Wrye Mash for Morrowind, and have everything in my Morrowind Data Files directory.

I made yet another Morroblivion map, this one includes entire Morrowind as seen in Tamriel Rebuilt. It is a high resolution textured map, verified to match the actual land layout generated by TES4LL. Includes roads from the concept map of TR (whether or not they already exist).

This map can be used also without TR! Of course then you won't have any map markers there.

Oh that's sweet :P

You gotta do this for my Daggerfall mod once more roads are drawn onto the map, I love this just as much as the vanilla map.. or even a Mournhold version!!

What Daggerfall mod is that? :D Can't find anything here or on Nexus. I'm handy with GIMP but I need a map to start with - I am still having trouble generating a textured map with TES4LL (it only does heightmaps for me). Clearly, I'm missing something.

Yeah, it's in the Shadows for little while longer.. While some tilesets get finished! But all in all it's the Morroblivion version of Daggerfall.

Ahh TES4LL - I never ventured too far into generating the textured map, only heightmap data :P

I fixed a few meshes from Tamriel Rebuilt - the ones from morro\x folder. They overwrite classic Morroblivion models but they had misdirected textures. Get them here.

This is based on the latest resources 66.1.

I have an error in the compatibility layer ESP in script function mwGetWeatherFunction which leads to CTDs. OBSE reports this:

Error in script 110848cf
Couldn't create eventlist
Error in script 110848cf
Could not create function context for function script
OBSE: deinitialize

This is the latest OBSE 22.6.1.

When I tried to recompile the script, I found that weather IDs that end on BC could not compile. I commented out those lines and it stopped OBSE complaining, but unfortunately it still crashes in the same spot - OBSE de-initialising. Which makes me wonder what would be the recommended OBSE version for Morroblivion? It seems to be the root of evil here.

mwGetWeatherFunction? I think the fix was just renaming the weather too point to the new weather names, This should've been done along time ago.

May be I got the wrong version then. I downloaded it from this thread... Where is the latest version, please?

You have the latest version.. The issue you have was overlooked.

Great job about the TR Map. I'm already using it, I love it.

I experience CTDs from time to time, maybe related to the weather issue (which I can also see in the console)... So far to avoid them mostly, I had to set a bigger heap memory. But it's not a definitive solution.

Is there a known way to fix it and update the post?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks on the map! :)

I too have occasional CTDs when the weather is about to change. I think there's a similar problem also in the main Morroblivion. I had this already before I installed TR.

The fix is script side just redirect the references to the new weather ids

Hi,

Just to clarify this is a WIP? So the people with no clothes on and all of the missing textures/meshes in Old Ebonheart, I assume are expected? (I've been trying to get it to 'work' for 4 hours but then though I'd actually ask, as its probably because its a mod in development lol).

What is there is lovely though, thank you so much for working on this. I would be happy to go through future editions and note down any issues/bugs. I'm not very technical I'm afraid compared to you, but I'm quite good at taking notes.

That is normal in the current build, lots of out of place things.
