I recently did the Sheogorath Shrine in Vvardenfell and I returned the Fork of Horripilation to the shrine. My problem is, I now permanently seem to have Fork's Wound: Stunted Magic as an active effect... I've tried removing the spell via console commands, but the ID's that I got don't work. I also tried adding the Fork of Horripilation via the console command and enchanting, as I read this would remove the effect, but it will not let me enchant it. Does the Fork share the same ID as the Shivering Isles one? I tried adding the Morrowind Fork of Horripilation, but that ID doesn't work. Is there a Morroblivion specific ID for the Morrowind version of the Fork of Horripilation? Or does anyone have any idea how I can remove this active effect. I'd preferably like to do it without the use of Mods, but if that is the only way, then so be it. If anyone can help me with this, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Fork's Wound/Stunted Magic Issue
No you Cannot run a Morrowind Form ID Number under Oblivion Engine. Morroblivion runs a Different Model to Shivering Isle, but runs Under the Same Script to the Shivering Isles Fork ( Need Shivering Isles Installed ) do you have Morrowind_ob-UCWUS.esp Installed.
Yes, I do have the Morrowind_ob-UCWUS.esp Installed. I had a feeling it ran on Oblivion scripting, if I recall correctly the Morrowind Fork of Horripilation damaged Magicka 200pts. I did notice however, that when I added the (Oblivion) Fork via console, that it looked different from the one that I received in Vvardenfell, which leads me to believe they must have different Object IDs. If that is the case, I can't for the life of me find the proper ID for the Vvardenfell Fork. I am at a loss here. I know a little bit about CS and such, but my knowledge is bootstrap at best.
In CS\CSE, in Object Window under Weapons\Morroblivion. Open Oblivion.esm and Morrowind_ob.esm in CS\CSE
I went into CS and I found the object, but the ID I got was 0forkUhorripilationUunique and it didn't do anything... I opened it to view the script and it showed player.removespell se45forkdrain which also didn't work. I am really confused.... I've been playing for over 37 hours and I think this glitch has broken my game. FML
Delete back a Couple Saves, why didnt you Use the Number.
What number?
If you wish to use the Editor IDs in the console, use this plugin. However the spell uses the Shivering Isles script and should be removed from you when you unequip the fork. Alternatively use this command to remove the spell: player.removespell 00078780
Brainslasher is correct.
I wonder how the bug happened in the first place? Did you have the fork equipped when turning in the quest?
player.removespell 00078780 worked!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Brainslasher you are the man!
Qwerty, I did not have the fork equipped at the time. However, I did have God Mode on at the time because I was grossly overencumbered. I don't know if that could cause this, it doesn't seem likely, but its the only thing I can think of....
EDIT: Come to think of it, I may have actually stored it in a chest in my Stronghold. Maybe when I returned to Sheogorath without the Fork, the game did in fact remove the fork, but perhaps it glitched because it was not in my possession. Again, I'm not sure if I actually did this. I can't recall if I went to my stronghold first, or after I visited the shrine. It took a while before I noticed Fork's Wound was still active because as I said I had God Mode on.
Same thing happened to me, fixed it with player.removespell 00078780. I had the fork equipped (but not wielded) when I finished the quest by talking to the statue, so I think that is why the effect stayed.
