Morroblivion works great but no Text for speech ?

Submitted by mofette66 on

So i installed Morroblivion, it all loads up perfect etc but there is no text when i talk to people.

I've been through the install setup again but i can't workour what's missing ?

Any ideas would be most welcome, a third eye on probably an obvious fix would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Believe it or not, Morrowind had very very little spoken dialogue.

Robertneville has done a great job coping a lot of the voice files from morrowind over. Check out that download here: "http://morroblivion.com/forums/morroblivion/mods/2000"

Also, people have worked on making voice files here: "http://morroblivion.com/forums/morroblivion/mods/1648"

Cheers!

Hey thanks for your reply.

What i actually mean is that there is no text when i talk to people. I know that there is not much spoken dialogue in Morrowind.  I don't get any quest dialogue or anything when talking to npcs. I have the script extender installed etc.

I can't work out why the text isn't being displayed.

Cheers

EDIT Solution....

Doh ok all i had to do was enable subtitles in the oblivion menu now all the text shows up properly. I'm an idiot nevermind :p

haha, okay. That's exactly what I was going to tell you to do!

Also make sure you have elys silent voice. It makes the text not scroll past to quickly.

Glad you figured it out!
