^ Thats about it for the

This is for people who do not know what to do with the resources above. Nearly all of those files are "Modder's Resources" ... i.e they are just oblivion compatible meshes and textures ... there is no esp which adds them to the gameworld. This is what you are supposed to do: - Download the files - Extract them and then copy the files to your Oblivion directory. The Data folder should overwrite the Data folder ... the Meshes folder should overwrite the Meshes folder and the Textures folder should overwrite the textures folder. Note that windows will say "overwrite" but it actually adds the content instead of replacing the original. - Next open the Construction Set and load the master files ... oblivion.esm and morrownind_ob.esm To avoid crashes you want to save often ... save right now to make a new plugin entry. - In the object window, expand Actors->Creatures. Right click in the right panel and select "New". [External image] - A new 'Creatures' dialogue will open. You want to enter an ID and a name for the creature. In the middle left should be a button named "Add Nif" ... click it. [External image] And browse to the the new folder you have copied. In the case of the Alit it should be Data\Meshes\Alit In the case of the nixhound it would be Data\Meshes\nixhound ... The file you should select here should be skeleton.nif ... nothing else. Click ok and save the plugin again (otherwise it would crash). Now open the creature entry again and move onto the 'models' tab. Here you want to select the other file. For example alit.nif or body.nif In the animations tab you want to select all of the .kf files. [External image] Click ok and save. The creature is ready now and you can place it in the gameworld. You may want to tinker with the comabt style etc.

hmmm i though e had agreed

hmmm i though we had agreed that we'd also convert MW scamps, atronachs etc in the future

This is Fantastic!

Thank you Hashmi!!! this is better than anything I had been hoping for. You have been working on this for so long. It will, unfortunately, still be a while till we can get to these, but we WILL, eventually, get to them... ---- Daemonnnn, my opinion on this is to focus first on what is broken or missing, then maybe come back later to address the discrepancies between Morrowind/Oblivion creatures. Scamps and Flame Atronachs work, but currently if you enter a 6th House cave it is TOTALLY EMPTY. Time would be much better seved filling in the gaps first. My other opinion, which is, totally, my opinion, is not to focus on what Morrowind WAS, but instead accept what Oblivion IS. If you want to see Morrowind Scamps, then there is always still the option of Playing Morrowind, but this is Oblivion now, and some things just will not be the same...

Pardon my ignorance

What do you mean by " Lore Creature Version already added?" Do you mean added as part of the conversion process?

@David Budreck: Lore

@David Budreck: Lore Creatures is a mod that has remade creatures creatures. By default it is already integrated into morroblivion.

@daemonn: We had agreed on

@daemonn: We had agreed on the remade MW style dremora textures not the morrowind meshes for scamps, clanfears, daedroths or atroanchs. Ofcourse if you really want them for some reason then you can ask eloth to someday do them as an optional component ...

I have added in a tutorial

I have added in a tutorial on adding them to the CS.

@hashmi i just think that MW

@hashmi i just think that MW style creatures and races should be made MW style and not oblivion style,due to the fact that races adapt to environments differently and all that mumbo-jumbo xP we have discussed this..ELOTH IF YOU READ THIS PLS MAKE ALL CREATURES MW STYLE FOR MW xD there i asked him lol

Thank you Hashmi!

Thank you for all the information Hashmi. I had made an offhand comment to Yoshimo that I wasn't anxious to go running around Morrowind again for a while because I had apparently gotten my fill of fighting Rats and Guar. Yoshimo had been wanting to address creatures from the very beginning, and I think my comment tipped him over the edge because he spent most of the day working on them, and is continuing with them today. I think we will probably start seeing some new life in the World of Morrowind sooner rather than later...

MorrowOblivion_Creatures 1_0 Released

These are good installation instructions you have posted. They will help people out. Thanks for providing all these resources! I have uploaded the mod using some of your resources: http://www.mediafire.com/file/7i1otrnriid96r7/MorrowOblivion_Creatures%201_0.7z This mod puts the following creatures back into Morrowind: Alits Nix Hounds Dreughs Cliffracers Winged Twilights Kwama Foragers Kwama Workers There are also Shivering Isles Golden Saints, and Diseased and Blighted versions of several of these creatures as well as Diseased and Blighted Rats. These creatures have been set with Morrowind stats, spells, abilities, inventory, and sounds. All The leveled lists have been set to include these new creatures at the proper level using the spawn points that already exist in Morroblivion. The leveled lists and spawn points for all types of Kwamas are lost in conversion. So this mod makes new leveled lists and places spawn points at the proper locations in all 32 egg mines that were located. The wilderness will no longer be full of nothing but rats and wild guar, and the egg mines will be full of strange creatures once again. This mod will later be merged into the Morrowind_ob.esm Project clean universal master.

Updated.

Updated List

You might want to note on the list that Kwama Foragers are HAVOKED.

New Playable Creature Mods Released

I have uploaded two new creature mods so that most of the processed creatures on this list and others are now playable and in the game with proper stats and spells and sounds and such, and are on the leveled lists. To get all of the creatures will require five large downloads, but it can be well worth it: The Morrowind_ob.esm Project file which contains MorrowOblivion_Creatures 1_1 merged. Contains 8 creatures in and includes the anti-CTD fix for the cliffracer: http://morroblivion.com/forums/morroblivion/mods/778 MorrowOblivion_Creatures 1_2 Contains 9 more creatures. Part 1 of 3 http://www.mediafire.com/?khcjicu0uhpu9gd Part 2 of 3 http://www.mediafire.com/?v9y479hragnixb7 Part 3 of 3 http://www.mediafire.com/?3n3ct7c1m9g5em3 MorrowOblivion_Creatures 1_3 Contains 1 more creature, the Sphere Centurion. http://www.mediafire.com/?9lforl2c1ebdw9c

Need Credits

With the inclusion of Creatures 1.2 and 1.3 into the Master, there is now a very long list of creatures. I have proper credits for some, but not all of these. Would whoever know who gets credit for what please fill in the blanks for me so that I can properly credit them? This is what I have. Please correct me if I am wrong: * Alits by Hashmi * Ash Slaves by Savant * Ash Slaves by Eloth * Ash Zombies by Savant * Ash Zombies by Eloth * Ash Ghouls by Eloth * Ash Ghouls by Savant * Ascended Sleepers * Ash Vampires * Bone Lords by Eloth * Cliffracers by Hashmi * Dreughs * Golden Saints (From Shivering Isles) * Kwama Foragers by Hashmi * Kwama Workers by Hashmi * Kwama Warriors by Eloth * Nix Hounds by Hashmi * Ogrims by Eloth * Sphere Centurion by Eloth * Winged Twilights by Eloth These are what I need credits for: * Ascended Sleepers * Ash Vampires * Dreughs * Golden Saints (From Shivering Isles)

* Ascended Sleepers -

* Kwama Forager - John117 * Ascended Sleepers - Eloth. * Ash Vampires ... Eloth. * Dreughs ... me * Golden Saints (From Shivering Isles) ... Bethesda Softworks :p Technically they all belong to Bethesda Softworks ... all we did was convert them to oblivion format.

Just in Time!

Thank you Hashmi! This is just in time for inclusion in the v004 Readme. The Support Files for v004 are uploading now...

You also got Kwama Forager

You also got Kwama Forager wrong. It was not done by me ... rather it was made by the Silgrad Tower team and then John117 obtained its permissions for use in morroblivion and made some fixes etc. I had nothing to do with it.

OK, Thank You!

Thank you for the correction; that is Exactly why I listed them all here. They will all be included in the v004 Readme.

Updated. I've also

Updated. I've also highlighted the pending creatures to make them more prominent.

@hasmi1: could you improve

@hasmi1: could you improve the meshes on those creatures i have released if you got time?

possible bug

to report: Game crashes for me when I try to attack a Kwama Warrior

@eloth: I have exams till

@eloth: I have exams till next saturday but I'll be free after that. Just list the ones you want improved. @Sighfin: Did you get it from the morrowind_ob.esm project ... or Yoshimo's creatures mod ... or did you add them to the CS yourself?

it came out of

it came out of morrowind_ob.esm 004. I'll do some more testing later and see if it's specific to the creature or the location i was in or anything else.

actually, ignore that last

actually, ignore that last one, it seems to happen at random spots of the cave I was in. I don't know what could be causing it really.

Which Cave Exactly?

There was a piece of Vvardenfell Imports Armor, the Nordic Iron Helm, that was causing CTD's whenever you got near one of them. I hope this is not something like that, but want to check it out.

Steam Centurion Mod Ready for Download

MorrowOblivion_Creatures 1_4 is ready for download. http://www.mediafire.com/?yh15vct9r984l2r The mod is dependent on the Morrowind_ob.esm Project file. With these two mods, you can have all the completed creatures on the list at the beginning of this thread in your game at the points where they would be expected to spawn.
