There Main post is finally up to date except for any fresh stuff i dont know about, and it is all organized and lists every character and which ones are taken, so you should easily be able to tell who is avaliable now!!!
the mic i used is actually pretty bad, but is just a test i will try record it again in better quality, try to listen again reading the actual lines of the chracter, even myself couldn´t understand what i was talking sometimes.
msThe video for recording sounds (for noobs) is great! There is a step you don't need, though: Audacity can make it's own MP3 files: it is just a matter of following the instructions in this link.
i recorded the lines again, the first audio wasn´t very easy to understand, hope the sound is better this time, english is not my actual language, i may have some pronunciation error, please tell me any problem, my voice isn´t very good but i´m really trying.
I like your accent and the tone and sound of your voice as well as the way you deliver the lines. I think you could work on enunciation a little and the quality is pretty bad.
@Catalysten
Love it! the quality could be a tad better but overall it is really good
Hey all, I'm steadily working on Athyn Sarethi's lines. It's taking me quite awhile with school obligations, but I hope to have them complete by the end of the week.
In the meantime, here's a collection of some of my more recent work:
Just stopped by tell you (Teebs and HazeMac) that I find these last recordings really, really great. Good work! :) I find many of voice actors here doing really good, but your uploads are just excelent!
And this is why I'm taking my sweet time picking roles and prepping to audition. ^^; So I can hope to compare with quality such as these guys'. But yeah, sorry about the delay, all. ><
Hey guys, new here -- I was contacted by Mehhish (Mehh here, I guess?) through Soundcloud to do some voices for this project. Did that count as an audition or should I repost them anyway? :P
This is a pretty beastly thread so I apologize for noobish repeats of questions, heh.

Wow, amazing! Yes I read Eloth beg someone to contact you through Soundcloud, because you're like our savior for the female voices... Great to have you here, and yes I think all of those samples are amazing. ^^
I'm another of the few females here attempting to mainly do some khajiit voices. :) I think we'll definitely need you for the orcs and dark elves specifically, since no one else has really been able to nail them so far. Of course you're welcome to do as much work as you want. The more the better I'd say! We naturally want as much variety as possible while not sacrificing the quality...

oh dear God, PLEASE voice some dunmer, pick some main quest dunmer, pick all the main quest dunmer! pick all the orcs! do something do anything! I can't even. . . . . I mean. . . . ahhhh :'( . . . Thank you! please do a bunch of voices I'll be so happy, also someone remind me to give Mehh a high five or something
Would like to echo the admiration for the recent posts, it's good to know the standard of the voice acting for this project is so high. If it's not too much trouble, I would like to be assigned the role of Kaushad, and have enclosed a new sample:
https://soundcloud.com/metaljoemac/kaushad-sample
I'd like to contribute. Got a deep, slightly rough, slightly nasal voice and - as I am always embarrassed to rediscover - a rather haughty tone. Oh, as well as a more convincing rolling rhotic than any I've heard here.
On the other hand, poor recording equipment; maybe if I get enough encouragement here, I'll seek out better.
Attached are a bit of Breton and a couple chunks of Khajiit, which I reckon the above-mentioned qualifies me to perform. Would've tried out for Altmer, but I see it's been taken.
Hey guys I was just wondering how far along this project has come along since it started and how close is it to completion? I wish I could help but I have a pretty bad voice and no mic.
P.S Krimzie you have an amazing voice Bethesda shouldve hired you instead. Your dunmer is almost exactly like that of skyrim. Keep up the good work!
Oh yeah @Adam, youve got a good voice and I especially liked the first one but you definetly need to get better recording equipment. I cant tell you how many quest mods in skyrim that have been ruined by bad recording equipment for voice acting. Nice Job though.

I personally really enjoyed your voice, and especially the first recording was great. ^^ I think like you said, you sound pretty convincing. Not like a 20 year old student like the most of us. However I'd personally feel the Khajiit voices should be a bit more dragging... Hmm, perhaps the intonation was a bit too jumpy. It's hard to define but with a bit more practice you might nail it. :) But like I said, first voice was absolutely fantastic imo! ^^

Amazing! :D What a beautiful voice, sounds astoundingly professional to me.

Telebs and Metaljoe, you both have great Dunmer voices, very reminiscent but as a minor improvement -there is something lacking in the recording quality, possibly depth or clarity.

I love the eccentric bookseller, its very dynamic, I can put a face to it in my imagination, I really want to hear some of your work recorded with better equipment because you could make a brilliant Voice Actor.
If I were you, I'd look up some voice clips from Morrowind on YouTube. Then look at the spreadsheet on the first post and try out some lines, then post it here.
I like it, the second one more so, maybe just do as many variations as you feel like, It might be the case that they assign you to a different character.
willERROR343: I think your voices were awesome but yeh some might not find them raspy enough for Morrowind. But of course if you can make them more so they'd be fantastic. Nevertheless I think you should do voices for at least some race, even if not dunmer. :)
I agree with the above, your voice is great, but we need the dunmer as close sounding to the original as possible, with a little work you might be able to get there, also don't be afraid to try some other races

It may just be my less-than-perfect hearing or a bad recording, but I had a hard time understanding what you were saying most of the time.

you did a great job on these :) keep it up :)

Damn Teebs, killin it
Well done Teebs!
Thanks, guys! I'll continue working when I have spare time. Keep up the good work, everyone!
Btw, it's a little later, but I'd like to claim Athyn Sarethi as a role unless anyone has any objections.
Good work Teebs and HazeMac, both of your works were great! ^^

Hi guys,
Here is the complete dialogue for Hrisskar Flat-Foot.

Eloth was originally meant to sort me out with this but he wasn't online and I really wanted to get these online.

O_O all of those sounded completely professional, very very impressed.
Wow. I'm impressed to say the least :)
That was professional voice work to say the least.
Oh yeah! I saw you mentioned in the chat! You're absolutely amazing! :D

He might die a few more times if he hangs out here making excuses as to why he can't contribute and asking about the progress. Fair warning.

@metaljoemac done
Hi, I would like to try voices but do not have skyrim or morrowind.
If I were you, I'd look up some voice clips from Morrowind on YouTube. Then look at the spreadsheet on the first post and try out some lines, then post it here.
Ok, so I tryed out some lines for Hlaren Ramoran. Here is what I got.
Sample 1:https://soundcloud.com/william-d-ha/hlaren-ramoran-1
Sample 2:https://soundcloud.com/william-d-ha/hlaren-ramoran-2
If it is too light, I could make him more older and raspier.
I like it, the second one more so, maybe just do as many variations as you feel like, It might be the case that they assign you to a different character.
Your voice is very nice, but it should be noted that the Dunmer have a much more gravely voice.
willERROR343: I think your voices were awesome but yeh some might not find them raspy enough for Morrowind. But of course if you can make them more so they'd be fantastic. Nevertheless I think you should do voices for at least some race, even if not dunmer. :)
Alright I'll try a raspier voice. Maybe I'll also try out some imperials and nords. Be back in a flash.
stijmunkey wrote:
Of course that depends on the character, not every imperial have deep voices.
A high elf or wood elf, should suit quite well.
