Alex man your doing great, everything you touch or learn to do ends up freaking amazing! and fast! You have the potential to actually get into the business if your interested, learning all this and being so good at your age, keep up the amazing work, I'm looking forward to see what else you contribute to this project, and in the future i expect to be playing a full game that you helped create, iI guess you could almost call this a full game when it's done lol, I subscribed to you on YouTube, your one of the only check out these other channels on my page, beside skywind game, and i even linked to one of your vids, it's the only way iI knew how to support you, other than this paragraph of course, keep up the great work your amazing sir

I don't know have you seen these pictures or not. I've already posted them in another topic. But here they are again.
Maybe you could use them for inspiration if you and Ravanna are going to continue remodel morrowind creatures. I believe author won't refuse you.

HELP ME !!!@!#@#!@#
If CK says there are too many bones in the mesh, shouldn't you try to get rid of some bones, maybe? Or would that just make the creature lose some of the cool animations?... Bah, I'm acting like I know what I'm saying...
As I just said in the 3D modelling thread thought I'd say the same here.
Decided I was sick of not being useful to Skywind and spent all of last night learning Zbrush. Got the handle of it rather quickly I think and I will be practicing a few hours every day until I think I can contribute some models :) working on a Clannfear as my first project.
This is as far as I've gotten tonight, this is literally my first project on Zbrush so criticize and give suggestions where needed xD its only a bust though and I will post another screenshot when it is finished! Want to get all of the detailing and shape right before I attempt to make a full body model that can have animations and such added to.
(Edited to replace screenshots with close up versions)
Officially addicted to Zbrush. Been up all night redoing this Clannfear over and over LOL, finally getting to a shape that I like. I CAN'T wait to spend a ton more time on this and learn some more advanced techniques.
The indentations on the front of the face and on top of the head are where the horns will go. Check out the Morrowind Clannfear screenshot on UESPwiki to see what I mean
I'm gonna spend a good week or so watching all the Zbrush tutorials and practicing a bunch every day. Will post a finished Clannfear sometime after that :) The head is just some practice.
wow i am really impressed and inspired i am gonna try to learn zbrush too. i am pretty good for 3ds but have only done mashups. i am the jerk who was saying how the skyrim monster mod guar wasnt up to snuff on another thread. sorry i just see these creations and tjhe guar would be the only the only morrowind creature that it would make sent to be a mount i just think there should be a really good one
Ahaha do it man, really get into it. You have no idea how proud of myself I am that I can finally contribute to this amazing modding team after a year or so of just following them and wanting to help :)
I learned the basics in one night, just watch their Zbrush introductory series
So as a long time lurker, I have to admit I saw all the fun people were having with Zbrush and thought I'd see if I was too old to learn.
Attempting a Scamp using Zspheres. Still very early (and wobbly/blobby/sausage fingered) days, I've got a lot to learn in terms of sculpting and I'm holding off on attempting the hands and feet for now! All feedback and advice welcome.
Looking at proportions I'm pretty sure the head needs to be larger at the very least..
Hmm, we may need to update it a bit, but yeah, here's our spread sheet.
Not using Skyrim's Uydrfrykte? Was there a reply from the person who made that Grahl? How about Skyrim Immersive Creature's Dwemer Spectres? Regarding Goblin Officers and Warchiefs, one of the mods is hidden and the other's an armour mod or something, I know we've got Clannfear, Kagouti, Alit and Scamp on the way.
Pictures of the Morrowind models and their Skywind variants'd be nice too.
I suggest someone remaking the guars. Whenever you enter a cell with a guar, it makes the howling noise like it's just turned into a werewolf since it uses the werewolf skeleton.
Yup, we talked about it in chat and I'm getting to work on them soon (: right after the Kagouti and Clannfear are done being textured, and I've atleast started work on the Alit.
Lol, the guy working on the Bone Lord is looooooooooong gone if I recall. Was pretty funny, he made a shit load of screen shots, had another guy working with him, chatted in chat, and vanished. I think we also had some guy who was a professional rigger, was really good and BAM, gone. Eloth says that 95% of people who join the Skywind team, vanish within a week or two lol.
Pictures of the Morrowind models and their Skywind variants'd be nice too.
Go hard Lium, make yourself an official contributor :)
I've updated the spreadsheet a bit.
Alright, I've got an image gallery. Just a few points before I upload it.
Are we going to use Dwemer Spheres for the Centurion Archer? Are we not using Skyrim's Storm Atronach? For the Plague Wolf and Bears, seeing as how they're simply recoloured mobs, would not the default Bear (we can use Cave Bear for non-plagued bears) and Red Wolf work? What about the Forsworn Headdress on a Redguard for the Aspect of Guile? And some deer horns stuck onto a wolf and bear for Speed and Strength?I've left out the Grahl until it's confirmed we're using it, and some of the Skywind variants are sadly still WiP pictures but I can always update it when they are finished. There are also a few creatures from various mods that would serve in a pinch, like SIC's DwemerSpectres, Monster Mod's Hungers, Daedroths.
It kind of works like this; if there is some sort of equivalent in Skyrim or some modders resource then it will be used, that is until somebody comes along and creates something that is deemed worthy enough to make it into the game. Same goes for anything like armour, weapons, architecture, etc.
There is a lot more to getting a replacement creature than making a static model. Until we have a fully animated version in game, don't assume a Skyrim or modders resource won't be used.

Sadly using a terrible and uneditable site, which means I have to delete and reupload everything if I want to change something. Anyone got a suggestion of an easy to use, editable and free gallery hosting site that doesn't require a sign up?
im little over twice his age and would need 3 days to decide if i wanted chicken for dinner or not :P
Dude, I'm 16 too, how do you find the time to do this amazing job after school ? I have SO many things to do right now... :(
Ravanna had me redo ALOT, im starting to add detail again, with help i redid membranes and added a shell outside part.

Just kidding, lol.

I've made quick picture thinking how Monopteryx's Kagouti would look like in three dimensions. Hope it can help you somehow.
These monster mods are looking great! keep up the work guys! Maybe we'll have all knew models for everything by the time this thing is "finished"

Exactly what creatures have been done and what needs to be done?
Also, very nice Kamchatka.
Sometimes I visit Morroblivion....
just to have my mind blown.
Keep up the great zbrushing people! :D

I know you said the spreadsheet needs updating, but just in case, Ash Spawn and Ash Ghouls have nothing to do with each other.

So the answer is yes we are going to use all of the above now that you have made observation. This spreadsheet has who is doing what, with possible replacements : https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Alvwmz6hbHGPdHh...if u play like that i also want to say hunger is among the monster mod mobs
and the bone walker u could use a zombie thats among the monster mod mobs the get pretty close if the are missing the bones stiking tru the flesh
i am sure i saw bonelord some where to in a mod but cant find it nowe wasnt that good looking eny way than some art of it
Okay, now it's properly done.
