Hi, I have just installed morroblivion and it works fine, only the water is opaque and the trees are still quite blocky in texture. I am not running OBGE as it was causing the game to freeze on load. Also (it's been a while since I've played the original morrowind) I can't remember if there is supposed to be sound when opening dialogue with an npc.. I know there wasn't speech while using the menu options but I thought there was supposed to be opening dialogue. Maybe I'm mistaken. If anyone could help with any of these issues I'd be very grateful. Thanks.
Are you using eloth's tree
Are you using eloth's tree replacer plugin? What about eloth's water plugin? Are they active in your load order?
The first time you load OBGE, it causes the game to freeze on load for about 30 seconds to maybe five minutes on a slow computer. You just have to wait for it. That's in the help file. You should try OBGE liquid water in addition to eloth's water plugin.
There is not supposed to be speech for 99% of the NPCs - that's how the original Morrowind was. There is speech for the very beginning of the game (boat, census and excise office) but that's it. There are a couple of projects to try and add voices. From the FAQ:

No! It is highly recommended that you install Morrowind Voiced Greetings and Combat which brings the ORIGINAL voiced dialogue to the Morroblivion mod (for a variety of reasons, this is a separate download). However, these are just the (limited) original Morrowind voice-overs.There is, however, an ongoing project to voice all 52,158 lines of dialogue in Morrowind. You can check up on the work in progress and download the most recent version here.
There is also an ongoing project to create computer-generated voiced dialogue. It sounds a lot better than you probably think!

Thanks to both replies. I don't have Eloth's tree replacer or water replacer installed. I just installed morroblivion alone. I'll get both of those and try them out thanks. I might give OBGE a shot again as well once I get the other issues sorted. :)

I have the water and tree's working now. Doesn't look as gorgeous as the screen's I've seen on the forums for the tree replacer or the water, but my vid card doesn't support hdr so that might be the difference. When I unticked amalexia this seemed to fix a few problems. And the greetings still don't work for some reason. But that's fine. I can live with that :) I'm new to modding so trial and error!

As for the blocky trees, make sure you have eloth's tree replacer installed and if you have eloth's water replacer activated, disable that as it could be causing you problems.
