Any thoughts on shape/proportions?

One issue I've run afoul of is seam lines where two subtools are joined (see the back of his ears). Anyone know a way to combat this with zbrush? My own research into the subject suggests that I'd need to use a program like Maya to merge the topography properly.

Try to smooth out his legs

yeah, he`s got the hulk thighs :P and his upperbody is too tall compared to the legs i think

Haha yes, I was trying to give it mottled fur texture but at this resolution its definitely Mr Universe vascularity stuff. I think you're very much right on both counts. New longer legs are needed and they need to start higher up.

Yeah, he actually needs to be smoothed all around. Try to base him off an anthropomorphic rat.

That's a pretty bold statement you're making there! Especially after all the nice friendly things Eloth said earlier about Beth's way of adding creatures. lol

If we can get basic clothing/armor placeholders, working doors, most of the awesome landscape work, and Cliff Racers into .7, it's gonna be quite the release!

we cant get clothing and armors in game at all until we have the outfits made

Which will be a BIG pain especially if no one can figure out a script to automate it

AlexB - Ravanna and Eloth have been looking at Cliffy animations. They were hoping you could help, so might pay PM then if you don't catch them on char.

Done an up to date (I hope list) of what's done and what's not with pics: http://pastebin.com/feFRkmrU

Hopefully you can update that spreadsheet Chappy

So just now I decided that I really wanted to make a really gross, corprus bloated, diseased Yagrum Bagarn.

But then I was thinking, how are we going to do the lip syncing/mouth movement?

Can that be done with anything other than a Dragon or a humanoid?

Because of Yagrum's unique Mechanical Spider walker, he was made technically a creature in the morrowind construction set. I don't think we can rig him to a humanoid skeleton.. We would most likely need to rig him to a Dwemer Mechanical Spider.

Is it possible to create mouth animations on a creature to line up when the lines are spoken?

Well if we can't lip sync we could always put like a respirator or mask over his face as a work around, its not to much of a lore breaker seeing he has the corpus disease and is a technologically advanced dwemer.

I was thinking that perhaps his lips wouldn't move much as he is semi paralyzed.

And the voice actor would just need to make the voice sound VERY strained. Which in fact would make it more immersive in my opinion.

That feels just cheap, isn't it possible to just modify a skyrim head and add it on a scratch made body?

Well something like that would seems to be the best case scenario; however it's far beyond my know how so I really don't know how possible it is. I only suggested the mask/respirator as a work around to not being able to have lip-synching  and because having a non-animated face really takes the life out of a character.

I'm not sure how possible adding a head that can actually have lip files attached to it, but if it isn't in would rather the resperator idea he is a technological Dwemer after all and one of their inventors at that

Yagrum Bagarn had some voice acted lines. He talked like The Pillsbury Doughboy or as a hilarious YouTube comment said, "so i guess all dwarves talked like they had a jumble of balls in there mouth back in the day."

Here's a Youtube video of the Pillsbury Doughboy talking:

stijmunkeyI'm not sure how possible adding a head that can actually have lip files attached to it,

It's not about adding a head, I'd say it's replacing the body.

Wouldn't it also be possible to have the body as "clothing" over the invincible real npc body?

cant he just be an npc with an outfit that looks like yagram bagarn's body? I remember using this as a workaround in oblivion when I was trying to talk to creatures and oblivion didnt have support for talking creatures.

But if its just an NPC with a Yagram Bagarn outfit, then how could his legs be animated?

He never moves anyway, that doesn't matter.

What about when the player kills him? Would he not fall over?

I found a mod with some decent Dwemer spectre models: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=73106656

I don't want to go above my head, so I'll leave it to you guys to discuss.

I think scrib's animation from Dragonborn can be used for those, they are jumping while moving.

Glad to see you back, you work is outstanding as usual!

They look great! Cant wait to use this stuff :) They look really squishy...

Kwama Forager Download, its not using its own sounds, it uses horker, but idk how to do that, so once all my creatures are released someone can fix that.
