I think I almost have the dark elf, so much different than what I usually do. it's a good excersize if anything, you have to relax your vocal chords and breath out, it's almost like the new batman haha.

I was doing redguard and orc on the way to work and have those down pat, I know I've said it, but I will record some and show them tomorrow as well as my progression with the dark elfs, I think that one is just going to take a few days to get the hang of

sort of like (if you have eve been in a band) yelling, it takes a while for the vocal chords to do what you want them to do

I'm interested in voicing a couple of characters

This is my first post to this forum, so go easy!

I'm a massive fan of the elder scrolls series. Did a bit of acting at high school (a few years ago now). From New Zealand, so I have a semi-australian accent. Hopefully can bring a bit of variety to the mix!

Here's a few samples of a couple of lines:

Male Dark Elf (Bols Inadalen)

Male Imperial (Varus Vatinius)

Male Nord (Briring)

Will be happy to try a few more and am open to suggestions.

I can't tell very well which characters are free either.

Awesome work by the way, this mod looks to be epic!

Nice attempt on the dunmer, it's not quite there but with some practice you might be able to get it down, also the other two sound pretty good, ummm as for quality images not sure I can't really judge as I'm just listening through my phone, my pc blew up lol, so maybe wait till someone else listens to them and comments on the quality, as for which ones are taken if his name isn't in the first post somewhere then they should be available

Only if we distribute them, if we can work out an installer that takes them from people's oblivion install then puts it into skyblivion then it should be okay, either way no need to start a thread yet even if we do have to re voice oblivion too its still way too early and we need all the people we can get working on skywind voices

Hi there, sorry I disappeared for a short while.

A few people mentioned they liked my 'Sample 3' voice, the low grumbly cockney one. (http://www.mediafire.com/?ct6a68d2ib3jo61)

Could people please give me their opinion of which character that voice may suit as apparently people hate the cockney accent with the Dunmer.

I'd also appreciate feedback as to how I could improve that voice (It doesn't have to be cockney). I was also going to try out an Argonian or Kahjit voice but I looked on the excel sheet and could not find any, I also looked online for any suitable dialogue but I literally can't find anything suitable, I don't want to sound demanding but could someone please help me find something to work with.

voice actors

Hi all!

I'm new to the forum, but I'm interested in this and I have a pretty good mic (Condenser) and a SM58 mic which I used to use for live shows and recording. Been doing it since like 2005. I have a pretty decent set up with pop filter and all :D

This is a gret idea. I'll check out the mod later tonight or tomorrow.

Popping in with an idea/ suggestion. As I'm not contributing right now, please feel free to ignore this and not see it as a lazy person just nagging.
I've noticed that we have a far greater number of volunteers than people that complete what they volunteer for. Our current system of the google doc excel is far superior to the old way: we just had a list on the first post.
However, it seems like we're entering a phase of 'completion' (if you're generous enough to call it that) where we're starting to see people who could be doing work that isn't being done (because volunteers arn't doing what they said they would).
Now, some volunteers are still working, but taking their time, and others are just getting started.
Is there any possible way we can weed out the volunteers that aren't working anymore? Like, even putting a 'active' 'non-active' tag?
Don't know, just a musing.

Awesome can't wait for some female voices! And I'm assuming baladas is dunmer sounded pretty good actually, but I'm only using my phone speaker so maybe wait till someone else can listen to them and give an opinion, not bad at all maybe a little tweaking and it'll be good! :D
