Morroblivion Tree Replacer (Morrowind to Oblivion Tree Conversion Project)
Finally! I'm able to release the beta version of this massive tree overhaul, it's taken me countless hours getting to this point. I'm sure there is plenty of work left. -eloth
This is an early beta and needs to be tested! So we have a beautiful Vvardenfell.
it is recommended to use high res texture replacers along with this mod, or else the trees will
stand out too much if you know what i mean.
This looks wonderful eloth :) The MW trees did stick out as ungainly, after coming from the lush greenery of Cyrodiil.
Question: Does this get installed before your texture overhaul, or after?
its most safe to install this after the texture overhaul :)
Looks good in game so far. Doesn't seem to be much of an fps hit either (around Balmora/Moonmoth)
Eloth, this is freaking awesome! I'm loving it so far! With pretty much all of the clothes and trees taken care of, everything looks graphically up to date!
Also, I think I get less lag! Probably because those old MW tree meshes are now gone, but I'm not sure.
My only problem is a few trees now seem to be missing textures, such as the big tree in the Ahemussa Camp, and a few big ones between Tel Vos and Vos the village. But that could be on my end.
Anyways, great work like always, and thank you very much! I'm really enjoying this!
I saw the large bare tree's in the graze lands were miss it's texture too.
thanks
-kwm
Whew, so it wasn't just me. Thanks MrKWMonk ;)
uploaded new version with missing textures added:

The fix works! Thanks Eloth!
Minor bug report... I noted a number of fully and partially floating tree's whilst heading north along the road from Balmora to Caldera.
Cheers
I made some alternate normal maps for the leaf-less trees (download) this should make them look more detailed and less shiny (if thats how you like them to be).
Amazing Eloth, as always.
:D
Hi, I've just discovered the morroblivion project, do you still have your tree mod available?
On the site under..http://morroblivion.com/forums/morroblivion/mods/2031
Need to have a look around and a lot of reading You will Also find Better water
on the same page
Hi Eloth,
When I click the download link, it takes me to a page that says 'invalid or deleted file'. Is it something wrong with my browser settings, or does the link need to be updated? Thanks so much. Can't wait to upgrade morroblivion with your amazing work.
i have reuploaded it here:

many many thanks! This is beautiful.
Really interested in the tree and water addon. Could anyone repost it. Mediafire says the link is invalid or something. Thanks
Hey I have the complete Morroblivion Installation, do I need to download this? Because in the Bittercoast Region I still can see some of the old tree meshes, will this mod fix that?
Thanks in advance ;)
The Tree Replacer has been merged into the master and according to the below is included in the complete install.
I think that Eloth states that some of the old roots and stumps are still there.
This pack includes the following mods!!! THANK YOU to everyone who built these. This pack DOESN'T include mods that change how vanilla Morrowind was (i.e. new voice overs, additional player homes, etc.). My goal is staying as true to the original Morrowind as possible but taking advantage of the graphics capabilities of Oblivion). If you think I missed something, let me know.
Morroblivion Project Release by David Budreck (and countless others!)
This is the main Morroblivion project release thread - this is where it all started and continues to be done! Everything on this page is integrated (core files, support files, Vvardenfell Imports, etc.).
Hi-Res Textures and Normal Maps by Hashmi
A compilation of several popular Texture replacers for TES3:Morrowind, for example Connary and Qarl's work ... which have been made useable for Morroblivion (all textures also have Normal maps added).
Visual Overhaul by Eloth
Adds Hi-Resolution textures, Normal Maps, Specular Maps and Parallax maps to Landscape and Statics (Buildings). Separate parts are available for Ingredients, Plants, Clutter and Soulgems etc.
Tree Replacer by Eloth
Replaces the blocky and flat trees of Morrowind with equivalents from Oblivion and the Shivering Isles.
Clothing Replacer by Eloth
Replaces dis-proportional, seamy, blocky and blurry Morrowind clothes with Oblivion clothes (robes get replaced by remade versions of the originals).
Weapons by HelpfulPerson
Adds High-Resolution textures and normal maps to weapons (new textures by Helpfulperson).
Weapons by Darknut
Adds High-Resolution textures and normal maps to weapons (uses Darknut's sharpened Textures).
Misc. Textures by HelpfulPerson
Adds High-Resolution textures and normal maps to a variety to different objects (some clutter, some weapons, some ingredients)
Bloodmoon Texture Replacer by Helpfulperson
Adds High Resolution textures to Statics (like Buildings and Caves) in Bloodmoon.
Collision Redone for Eloth's Visual Overhaul by Hashmi
Collision meshes redone to solve some lag and stability issues ... with Parallax Mapping enabled and some texture paths re-directed so that it works with Eloth's Visual Overhaul.
Voiced Greetings and Combat by robertneville777
Adds back Morrowind's voiced greetings and combat taunts.
Map replacer by Iceburg
Adds a higher resolution World map for Vvardenfell\Solstheim\Mournhold. This map is actually a scanned version of the TES3:Morrowind 'Paper Maps'.
Better Morroblivion Water v1.2 by Eloth
Completely revamped exterior/dungeon/interior/cave water.
Morroblivion Grass mod (compatible with v33+) v3 by Eloth / speedyG
Adds trimmed grass all over Vvardenfell. Pretty much essential.
Chargen And Transport Mod v9 by Thermador
A more robust world transport mod; is compatible with Open Cities, gives you a choice of where to start, makes the journey cost time and money and lets you skip the tutorial levels etc.
Restored Faction Relationships by Thermador
Tweaks faction relationships to be more similar to Morrowind.
Morroblivion Silt Strider Overhaul by qwertyasdfgh
Improves textures and look of Silt Striders.
Universal Cast-When-Used System by qwertyasdfgh
Fixes many magic items in the game
Technically, it wasn't merged into master, it's just included in Complete Installation as optional file.

Link for Eloth_Morroblivion_TreeRelpacer_Alpha2
OK, stop me here if I've jumped the gun, stepped out of line, offended someone (Eloth) or got it all upside down! my intentions are good!
I have recently been removing the residual roots and seating trees from the tree replacer mod by Eloth, got part way through and found this link for the Alpha2, being a larger file than the one that comes with the main Morroblivion download I assumed it to be the later of the two... I understand that Beta is later than Alpha... but would Alpha2 be a re-evaluation of the Beta?
In other words 'Please help me to address the latest file'
PS, I also understand that roxon_55's post is 3 years old
I'm afraid I just knocked on with the larger (Alpha2) file as my free time was a little limited (make hay while the sun shines so to speak) and I have no doubt that I'll do it again if it turns out to be a fruitless venture... ya never know I might just do both anyway.
Thanks anyway roxon_55
There has been another update, I merged ponyrider0 root remover since eloth was unsure of what to do with the out of place roots. Additionally this includes Alpha2 which was missing from v064 and v065 resource releases. This hasn't been fully tested, but should work without issue. First post updated with download.

I made a patch on Nexus grounding many Dementia trees from Balmora going North, including the entire West Gash. Cannot guarantee 100% coverage but I tried to be thorough. :) Feel free to merge it in or leave it stand-alone.
I located dirty edits of the ghostfence in the tree replacer ESP, but to fix that one would really need to edit the original ESP. It is not something that can be done with a patch in any other way than making "fresh" dirty edits.
Is Eloth still around? I can fix the ESP but I don't want to step on anyone's toes while doing so.
Eloth is no longer around, nobody is actively fixing things beside me. Love the reports tho. :)
You can definitely fix it, I'll update the old link and eventually add the new one to v67
Ok, I'll fix it up and also merge in my patch that grounds lots of trees in West Gash. Can the updated Tree Replacer ESP go to Nexus or not? Sorry, I'm still a bit unclear about the legal side of things...
It can be posted to nexus.
I fixed up the original ESP removing all dirty edits for the Ghostfence. I also merged in my earlier patch that grounded floating trees in the West Gash.
Posted on Nexus.
New Update for v66 and newer; includes everything.
