So.. i downloaded all the pre stuff... installed that. so now i had a updated oblivion, and special sound file a master file and a script extender.. the game oblivion now has to launch from the script extender. then i downloaded the 2.5 giger file.. and RAR'd extracted it to a file on desktop, then manually put all the files into their correct place from window to window.. (ie: put the files from the "mesh" folder of Morroblivion in the the mesh folder of Oblvion) and i did this with all the files. and ofcorse put the other files where they needed to be. Just like i have done with all my mods. and all my other mods have worked. now i start OBMM and set the load order as directed, start the game via the script extender (cant load it from OBMM it says that button really is useless when u click it lol odd...) start the game and its no diffrent at all..... help plz? in the process of reinstalling everything from square 1. side note, i A: got my games... both are GOTY, but ummm... piratebay... anyways moving on...and i had to install Morrowind in strait up C programs cuz when i put it in program files (86) or w/e it is it wouldnt work. BUT the main file thing where u gotta put in your location of the games worked fine, and i had the Morrowind_ob file where it was supposed to be in the data files of Oblivion. and again the problem is the game Oblvion loads fine.. plays and works.. but there is no Morroblivon to be seen. same start up screen and everything. :'-(

got it working after trying to reinstall everything, it was odd half the files i couldnt never get to delete and ugh it was a big mess... but its working now. there are a few things tho, 1, is there anyway to make it run a little faster? game skips a little here and there and ALOT in Dargoth Ur's area. like almost unplayable stuff. and some of the weapons and areas look really pixalated. and like people wearing the chitin gear, everything looks right cept the boots and gloves and pants look very odd... like more like plain steel armor with no design. idk. i am happy it works. i love the orignal Morrowind and still played it up till this so the graphics are no biggy..a little pixal here a little pixal there oh well. but the skipping thing i really wish for a fix for that. may just be my pc, its a Toshiba Satellite L675 soooo maybe it just cant handle it. But thanks everyone for thier help and the hard work EVERYONE put into making this.

Yep, you need a faster computer. You have a 2-ghz core i-3 with no dedicated video card -- I am honestly surprised you can play the game at all!

Try setting your texture size to "Large" in your in-game video options menu. If it's not already set to "Large". Note that this will only make your other problem (lagging / skipping during the game) worse.
I can't seem to fix this problem my load order is correct the obse is in use and also i am not sure why my game crashes and i just have like 6 mods running and if the dragon mod is affected then i just remove morroblivion because i like that mod alot, it helpful, usful and cleverness, i'm not trying to state the obvious here. What i don't get either is when you go to the castle to open the cabinet with the priest key(This is in solstheim castle) it does not open that also something that needs fixed. When you go to tribunal it works and then when you talk to the queen it crashes, this does not stand up to morrowind it's self. What i'm trying to say is that, i know this a mod that is suppose to work properly, but still it don't mount up to real morrowind also, i'm not saying this is a bad mod or anything i'm just saying there's still so much to fix in this game like whats up with missing water and rock not balanced? Also ice and theramor what ever going on i don't think tribunal or bloodmoon should of been released yet i'm sorry it's just to incomplete, like the werewolfs all glow pink like what's going on? I think i uninstall this till this either gets fixed all the way or i have no use for this and insist playing just regular morrowind because that don't have any problems really besides a few bugs and major tweaks.
So, I just installed the Unofficial Oblivion Patch, and that Khajit that takes you to Morrowind disappeared...How do I get to Morrowind then?
She shouldn't have disappeared. Wait until the middle of the day; she sleeps at night. If that doesn't work, make sure you are sorting your load order with BOSS and that the CAT mod is at the bottom of your load order list.
I have a early 2011 macbook pro (quad core 2.0 ghz i7 processor, 4 gb ram, amd radeon HD 6490M 256 mb vidram) and when i am playing morroblivion, the games drops to like 25 to 15 fps (and sometimes even down to like 1 fps lol). When playing oblivion (the regular game), i can play the game on high settings with 2x antialiasing, farthest view distance for everything, bloom, and all the shadows on. Is there anyway i can reduce the graphics quality of morroblivion so the game doesn't lag as much? Thank you.
edit: btw i am NOT running on OS X. lol i do have windows 7 installed via bootcamp.
One of the requirements for my package of Morroblivion is a 1GB graphics card. You have a 256mb graphics card. You are going to have to turn down your graphics settings in the game but NOT reducing the texture size (it must remain "Large") but by reducing everything else.
Darkstar- that will affect both Oblivion and Morroblivion, and yes, you should turn all settings down besides texture size (keep that at large) and if it works, increase one setting at a time until you find a balance between beauty and playablity.
Main post updated - V052 of my complete installation pack is now available.

If you have V050 or V051 already installed you can upgrade to V052 by downloading the following files and then copying them over the files that you downloaded with the previous version, replacing (overwriting) everything.
I have a suggestion: running DDSopt on textures folder will noticeably reduce its size and eliminate the need of setting "texture size" to large in options.
Still giving me a "quota reached" but I guess I'll check the link every 12 hours every day. :(
To top it off, Vvardenfell Imports isn't downloadable from TESNexus because it links to rapidshare (which has been removed by the FBI).
Sorry that you guys can't access the file. I will upload a mirror tonight when I get home. It's working fine for me right now anyway.
Someone posted the Morroblivion website on reddit and we got a ton of traffic and downloads all at once, which is why there have been bandwidth overloads at the google file hosting. Our normal traffic is a few thousand visitors per week and we got like 30,000 hits in one day, just from reddit.
Also, you don't actually need Vvardenfell Imports with this complete installation, but I will post up the files in case anyone needs them for some reason.
Forgive my impatience. I tried this morning after your post and I saw that it was back online. Downloaded (2.0 mb/s!) & installed with no troubles.
It seems google is reliable with the 24-hour quota, folks!
I just installed Morroblivion from this complete installation download, but I am missing meshes and textures. In addition, the game crashes as soon as I walk out of the ship. There are several missing meshes all over the ship, the textures are missing from the hammocks and the ceiling joiners, the male guard is missing his pants, and the female gaurd is missing most of her armor. Here is my present load order:00 Oblivion.esm
01 Morrowind_ob.esm
02 Unofficial Oblivion Patch.esp
03 DLCShiveringIsles.esp
04 Morrowind_ob - Conversation.esp
05 Morrowind_ob - MorrowOblivion Eloth Landscape & Grass for v033.esp
06 Morrowind_ob - Morroblivion Maps.espI have tried to follow the instructions, and looking them over I don't see any steps I have missed. I do read of such things happening if you neglect to install Vardenfell Imports, but do I understand it correctly that this should be already in the complete install?UPDATE: Nevermind. I seem to have found the issue. I'm not certian why, but when I installed through WyreBash's Installers tab it didn't install everything. I am installing missing items now.
I can get all downloads untill step 4. At wich point the download from
google gets to about 2-4% says its complete and then fails when tried to
extract. Are there any alt sources for the big download?

It sounds like you have an unstable internet connection. You should try to resume the download, or use a download manager that can help stabilize and automatically resume your downloads.
If you have V050, V051, or V052 already installed you can
upgrade to V053 by downloading the following files and then copying them
over the files that you downloaded with the previous version, replacing
(overwriting) everything.
However,
I can't get the big file to download, it just redirects back into
google docs' main page. Are there any other links where I can get this
at all?
If you're having a problem with downloading from google, you can try:
signing out of your google account, or signing into one
clearing your browser's cookies / history / cache / temporary interenet files, then closing and reopening the browser
downloading with another browser (Chrome, Firefox, and IE all are working for me though)
downloading with another computer or internet connection (friend's house, etc.)
setting your time zone and time of day on your computer's clock to where you are now (thread here) - you need to have your time zone properly set to the place where you currently are
Hey guys, I migrated to a different hard drive recently and haven't reinstalled Morroblivion yet. I'm stuck wondering whether I should update, because for the foreseeable future I'm going to have a slow connection and it will take quite a while to redownload.
I still have the files from my first install and thought that I could just use those again instead of redownloading, but of course it's been a while. I don't have the version number handy but the install was almost exactly a year ago. Obviously things have changed and improved since then, but I don't know how much.
I know that there are version histories but I was wondering if anyone with experience could give a basic summary along the lines of "The old versions were much less stable than the current one" or "Most of the focus of the last X versions have been cosmetic so an update would mainly be a visual upgrade".
You know, just a quick personal impression of how much change there's been in the last versons so I can tell whether I'd be "okay" with what I have or if I should prepare to soldier through a day of redownloading. Thanks for any help.
Lol that's one of the reasons why the slow internet is killing me- I moved to a town of 5,000 people and all my friends are back home. XD
It wouldn't kill me to use the old version for now; I just thought it was probably better to wait until I could download the newest version at a rate that wouldn't take the entire weekend. Was there any really major change in the last year? It sounds like a stupid question but it felt so complete before; it didn't seem like anything was missing.
EDIT: I tried to start the download of the 2.5 gb file to test how long it would take, but the link brought me to the home page of Google Drive, where I was encouraged to sign up for their 5gb storage service...
Hmm, it appears that Google has taken over the links and put some kind of intermediary service in front of the file or something. Here are both links to the 2.5 gb Morroblivion file from the complete installation guide on page 1:
Both redirect me to a colorful page touting the features of "Google Drive" and offering to get me started with 5gb of storage space. Definitely no download link for a Morroblivion file. :(
Both links work fine for me when either: 1) I log into a google account that already has google drive/docs set up or 2) I am not logged in to any google account
However, when I log into a google account where I have never set up google drive/docs and click on the links, then I get the weird re-direct. BUT as soon as I clicked "Get started with 5gb free" - one click, that's it - the links would work again.
So your call, you can either turn on google docs for your account (1 click) or you can log out of your google account. Once you do that, go back and click one of the links again and it will work fine.
[rant] Personally I could never manage without google docs and I use it all the time, but this is REALLY crappy of google to hold files hostage until people turn on google docs. The whole point of using google docs to host these files is that it is fast and doesn't have any garbage ads / timers / size limits like all the other free hosts do. This really ticks me off. [/rant]
That's weird; it actually asked me to sign in to my google account when I first tried the links. That's how I was eventually diverted to the google drive page to begin with. I thought "I've never heard of this but if it wants me to sign in, whatever". That's when I got stalled on the sign-up page and didn't want to move forward without knowing what it was all about.
Anyway thanks for explaining things; I never heard of google drive before this and don't really need online storage myself but I'll look into fiddling with the various options available now that I know there's still a Morroblivion download at the end of it. Just wanted to make sure that google wasn't hacking your links or something first. Not only is their method counter-productive as you pointed out, it seems a bit presumptuous. But I guess I don't want to speak too loudly, lest Google buy the house from under me... XD
Found my old download and it turns out that I was on version 37. A few updates since then, eh? :)
Thermador thankyou for this complete installation, makes the Morroblivion install so simple and thanks for the 053 update links a few posts up, you should add that meshes and textures update file to the first post for people on older versions
I'm new to this site, but have been moding for awhile on TES games and want to help with the morroblivion project if anything still needs work. I have read through this thread to get updated as much as possible but need a few files.
Can you post links to your most recent versions of needed prereq. files and master file for morroblivion for me? I'd really appreciate it. I tried downloading the Morroblivion version from the > Complete Installation Thread link from here http://morroblivion.com/download and it always stops and crashes browser halfway through download. (I have a reliable and fast connection also) and I don't think that is the current version anyway from what I've read.
These are the additional files I downloaded so far from this site (to check with you if they're current and still used):
That is the latest version of Morroblivion, we have no developer only versions or anything like that, and the download was updated soon after version 53 was released.. I don't know what to say about your download though. Have you tried other browsers and other computers? If that doesn't work you could always try a friend's house, and then put it on a flash drive or burn it to a DVD. Then if all else fails, you could follow the instructions to the other installation method like I did back in the day. However, I warn you that method is much more difficult than the complete installation.
You won't need the additional support files, or the Chargen mod, as they are included in the complete installation, but the rest of the files look fine.
Once you get it working, and still want to help you could always look into Tribunal and Bloodmoon. They are still very buggy and need a lot of work. If you see something not working correctly, then fix it in the CS while making sure it is true to the original Morrowind by using the UESP wiki, and then upload the .esp.

You are posting in the wrong thread. The CAT mod is included in my Complete Installation distro.

I'm sorry, what? Can you not load the Complete Installation Threadpage all of the way, and so you can't access the links? If that's the case, try a different browser, disabling browser addons/bloatware, and/or reducing the number of posts per page in your morroblivion.com comments settings (found at the bottom of any thread).
Or do you mean that when you try to download the 2.5GB file, it crashes the browser? If that's the case, you should try a different browser, try disabling browser add-ons, try a different internet connection, and/or try a file download manager addon for your browser that supports resuming of failed downloads.
Also, my complete installation distro is, in fact, designed for the current version of the master file (v053 as it stands today).

There seems to be some misunderstanding here. If you are using my Complete Installation distro, the prerequisites are #4, 5, and 6 on your list. You would also need #3, and the 2.5GB complete installation package, plus Morrowind and Oblivion both installed and all of the expansions. But that's all on the Complete Installation Instructions in plain sight.
If you are building your own Morroblivion from scratch, then you need a lot more files, and you should start with the Project Release Thread and follow the instructions there.
Try downloading it from Nexus?

but the google docs link isnt working properly
it is saying

could you possibly make a torrent

Same for me.
Cannot download "one big file." Last night I was able to get past the warning screen once or twice, but then the download never started anyway.
If it's just download consumption, when do you anticipate renewal?

There are 2 links to thermador`s download,I think, but the google link should just show an almost blank page with I think a message about,
No preview available, but it should have a "download" option under that message.
Hmm, it appears that Google has taken over the links and put some kind of intermediary service in front of the file or something. Here are both links to the 2.5 gb Morroblivion file from the complete installation guide on page 1:
https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B53JtcN4hGiLR1NzNVdNOTlkQ2s
https://docs.google.com/open?id=0BzLZvk2hQiROMlphekRTV0ZSMkk
[/rant]
Thermador: I love that you used [tags] to tell the website you were ranting [/tags]. :D
hahaha
Are webwizard takes his magic seriously, as he should. :D
Hey Thermador -
I'm new to this site, but have been moding for awhile on TES games and want to help with the morroblivion project if anything still needs work.
Looking forward to it!
Thanks and have a good one -

Can you not load the Complete Installation Thread page all of the way, and so you can't access the links?
